Sarah Samet-Fragosa, RDH
A native of Morocco, Sarah received her Bachelor degree in English from a university there, along with her degree in Business Administration. Upon moving to Southern California nearly 2 decades ago, Sarah has been working chairside treating patients as a Registered Dental professional and exclusively as a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2015.
Sarah’s vast experiences, global knowledge, and patient focus in the dental field have given her the opportunity to establish wonderful long-term relationships with her patients. She prides herself in always providing excellent healthcare services to her patients with a happy smile and a great attitude.
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys hiking and spending time at the local beaches with her family.
Ruben Dominguez, RDH
Ruben Dominguez is a Southern California local who began his professional health care career in 2011. Ruben started his dental profession as an RDA in pediatrics and then went on to study Dental Hygiene at Concorde Career College, which is where he received his Dental Hygiene License and became a Registered Dental Hygienist. Since then, he has worked in private practice, mobile clinics, and CHOC hospital, helping special needs children feel comfortable in a dental setting. Ruben has achieved his dream of being a Registered Dental Hygienist! He loves what he does because a healthy body begins with a healthy smile and now he can contribute his knowledge through education, in English or Spanish – as he’s fluent in both!
When Ruben is off the clock, he enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife Diana and humble son Nico. The Dominguez family loves to travel the world. They believe that adventure is out there, and the world has so much to learn from.
Ruben happens to also be a musician. He knows how to play the guitar, piano, bass, ukulele, and drums! He is also great at drawing and playing basketball. Ruben is happy and proud to be part of the OC Smile team!
Miguel Arambul, RDH
Miguel Arambul is a Southern California native who obtained his Dental Hygiene Degree here in Orange County. He brings to OC Smile a positive attitude and passion for providing exceptional oral healthcare and education. Miguel’s attention to detail and desire to deliver the best care for his patients makes him a valuable member of our dental team.
In his spare time, Miguel likes to volunteer for non-profit organizations such as the Special Olympics, Remote Access Medical, and OC Children’s Health Fair. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and practicing MMA with their four children.
Nicole Marnien, RDH
Nicole is a Southern California local who has been in the dental field since 2012. She began her career as a registered dental assistant while completing her bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Science at California State University of Northridge (CSUN). She then went on to study Dental Hygiene at Concorde Career College, which is where she received her Dental Hygiene License and became a Registered Dental Hygienist. Nicole enjoys working close to home in OC, where she can serve her friends, family, and neighbors as one of OC Smile’s Registered Dental Hygienists.
Nicole is extremely compassionate and very skilled at putting her patients at ease. She brings a positive attitude and passion for providing exceptional oral healthcare and education to all her patients at OC Smile. She constantly strives to deliver a super positive dental experience to all our patients. Nicole is a valued member of our dental and oral healthcare team.
Nicole currently resides in Huntington Beach with her fiancé and their two cats, Ryder and Max. When Nicole is not in the office, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, going on bike rides along the beach, traveling, and being in the outdoors.
Tin Tru, RDH
In my 16 years of practice as an RDH, what I’ve enjoyed most about my profession is meeting and getting to know so many of my patients. I strive to make my patients feel at ease and comfortable in the chair. My goal is to convert any patients with dental-phobia into regulars 🙂
I received my Dental Hygiene Degree in Riverside, and received my bachelor’s degree in Biology from California State University San Bernardino (CSUSB).
I’ve worked in private pactice in the Inland Empire, LA County, and prior to coming to OC Smile & Orthodontics, I worked in Santa Monica / Brentwood. I’m very happy to now put down some roots here in Orange County.
In my off time, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family, especially my almost 2 year old rambunctious daughter.
Alexa Lara, RDH
Alexa is a dedicated dental hygienist known for her exceptional patient care and attention to detail. Gabrielle Castaneda, RDH
Gabriela is a registered dental hygienist who received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from MCPHS, Boston, Massachusetts. She has 15 years of experience as a dental hygienist. Gabriela has completed numerous hours of continuing education classes and is certified In the use of laser treatments. She is dedicated in providing patients with the knowledge to maintain optimal oral health and is passionate about delivering the highest quality of care to her patients. Gabriela loves her career and enjoys working with an amazing team at OC Smile.
