Dr. Pooneh Sabo was raised in Southern California and attended UC Irvine for undergraduate studies. She continued her schooling at the University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco and graduated in 1994. Dr. Sabo has been practicing in Northern California ever since and confesses “my heart has always been in Southern California, specifically Orange County, so I decided to open a practice in Orange County in 2006.”

Dr. Sabo and her husband have been married since 1998 and have a son Milan who was born in 2004. After she had her son, Dr. Sabo recognized how rapidly her life changed and it became difficult to fit everything in, including doctor’s appointments. It was this experience, and her ten years dealing with patients and their busy schedules, that showed Dr. Sabo there was a need for a dental office that could accommodate the busy lifestyles of its patients.

It is for this reason that OC Smile has come into existence. Now, Dr. Sabo provides the highest quality dental care at a reasonable cost to the entire family six days a week. She explains, “Establishing OC Smile as the ultimate dental experience is my passion and I appreciate the honor of serving each and every one of you.”

When Dr. Sabo is not in the office working with her patients, she enjoys running after Milan and taking him to the park and zoo. She also adores shopping and dinners in nice restaurants.

Dr. Farshin Farokhian

Although his name is Farshin Farokhian, at OC Smile he goes by the name Dr. Farshin. Dr. Farshin attended and graduated from the School of Dentistry at the prestigious Loma Linda University. Upon graduation, Dr. Farshin was the recipient of the Clinical Excellence Award, as well as the Baum Gold Foil Award.

He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at Loma Linda University, where he teaches all aspects of restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He is also a Noble Biocare Premier Implant Specialist Provider.

Dr. Farshin has been practicing dentistry for 5 years and finds great joy in reconditioning and creating beautiful smiles. He is an expert in extreme makeovers and full mouth reconstruction including porcelain veneers and implant placement, and restoration. He has completed over 1,000 dental implants procedures, including Complete Implant placements and restorative procedures. He would be delighted to help with your cosmetic dentistry needs and looks forward to showing you what a great smile can do.

When Dr. Farshin is not in the office building better smiles or teaching the dentists of tomorrow, he enjoys dining out, the theater, and martial arts.

Dr. Kia Ramezani

Dr. Kia Ramezani is a graduate of the prestigious Arthur A. Dugoni University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. Dr. Ramezani enjoys working in all aspects of the field of dentistry. He chose dentistry as a career because he loves to create lasting, beautiful smiles. Dr. Ramezani and his wife have two children together.

Dr. Ramezani takes pride in his commitment to providing his patients the highest quality care and attention they deserve. He explains, “I listen closely to my patients to gain an understanding of what they would like to accomplish. Then I create a treatment plan that is specific to their needs and always uses the most appropriate and successful technology and procedures available.”

Dr. Jaime Fernandez

I graduated from the Colombian School of Dentistry in 1988. I completed my residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in 1995. I’ve been practicing in Southern California since 1997. I feel a commitment to my patients to provide them with the best care for their dental needs. I am proud to say that at OC Dental Center Dentists, Assistants and Front Desk Personnel work as a team to meet or exceed patient’s expectations. Dr. Ivan Teran Casabianca DMD, DDS

Dr. Ivan Teran Casabianca was born in Venezuela. In 1994 he obtained his dental degree DMD from the Central University of Venezuela. He did his residence program in Implants and Oral Rehabilitation, earning a Mastership from the American Dental Implant Association. He has great experience and knowledge in the area of Implants, Bone Grafts, Sinus Lift, Bone Augmentation and Bone Management. He’s acknowledged as faculty from various seminars dictated all around the United States, providing Implant Dentistry Education Nationwide. He completed an International Dental Program for two years and obtained a Dental Degree (DDS) from the California Dental Board, and he obtained a Dental Degree (DDS) from La Salle Bajio Dental School Mexico.
